I’m not really sure why Bruce is getting the night off since other than last night he seems to have been heating up, and I’m still not sold on Drew Stubbs with the amount of times he strikeouts. Hopefully Dusty’s lineup juggling magic continues to tonight.

Last nights hero Chris Heisey!
Chris Heisey continues to impress me each time he gets in a game. He just seems to have a great grasp for the fundamentals and an uncanny ability to come off the bench and make things happen. In case you didn’t see the game or highlights, Heisey was up in the top of the 9th with the score tied and Jim Edmonds at third base, all he did was execute one of the best suicide squeezes I have seen in quite some time. He executed it so well in fact that he ended up safe at first. Honorable mentions go to Jim Edmonds who didn’t look like a 40 year old sprinting home. The Reds don’t always make things pretty (i.e. Cordero) but they sure do have a knack for comeback wins.
